RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police are identifying the victims in a double homicide on the city's south side.

Around 10:44 p.m. Saturday, police were called to Labrook Drive near Midlothian Turnpike for reports of gunfire. Officers were on scene in about three minutes and found the bodies of 40 year old George Redmond and 31 year old James Nash in the yard of a home. Both men had been shot.

Detectives do not believe there is an on-going threat. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000, you can remain anonymous.
