GONZALES, LA (WAFB) -

Five people have been arrested for robbing and shooting an alleged drug dealer during a home invasion.

Investigators say Brent "Smoke" York, 34, and several friends were at his home October 10th when a number of armed suspects forced their way into the home yelling "Police, get down."  The suspects demanded money and several shots were fired.  York was shot in the leg and his friends were arrested after a search of the home yielded drugs and a stolen gun.

The following people have been arrested in connection with the home invasion:

Kristen Theriot, 26, has been charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm and home invasion.  Her bond was set at $265,000.

Bryan Richard, 52, was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm, and home invasion. His bond has been set at $350,000.

Shalen Theriot, 38, was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm, and home invasion. His bond has been set at $350,000. Detectives say Theriot was shot during the home invasion, but Theriot was unclear on who shot him.

All three were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.

Mickey Comeaux, 35, and his brother Darrell Comeaux, 38, were already in jail on unrelated charges.  They will be transferred to Ascension Parish Jail where they will be charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm, and home invasion.

York was released from the hospital and charged with distribution, manufacture or possession of meth, possession of MDMA, possession of marijuana, possession of steroids, possession of oxycodone, possession of xanax, possession of stolen things, illegal carrying of a weapon, carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon, and prohibited acts/drug paraphernalia.
