PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A father and son who are suspected gang members and two other people were arrested Monday night at a Phoenix drug house, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.

The suspects face a combined 18 felony charges related to drugs and weapons possession.

The drugs seized from the house have a street value of nearly $20,000, sheriff's deputies said.

Undercover detectives discovered during a surveillance operation that a number of drug deals were taking place at a home in the 1900 block of East Brill Street.

Some of the drug deals were delivered by bicycle to neighboring users, MCSO said.

A search warrant was executed and sheriff's investigators seized 270 grams of heroin, 1 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, five handguns, $1,600 in cash, along with weighing devices, a ledger and packaging material consistent with the drug trade, MCSO said.

One of the suspects at the home was stopped by detectives leaving the home in his vehicle. Deputies seized more heroin, methamphetamine and handguns.

The suspects are identified as Mark Rodriguez Jr., 26; Mark Rodriguez Sr., 50; Lucy Saiz, 49;  and Carlos Chavez, 35.

Rodriguez and son are known to be members of local street gang, deputies said.
