Avoid Identity theft; Shred, Shred, Shred

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The WSFA 12 News defenders team is helping you avoid identity theft by telling you about a free event. There is a free shredding event where you can safely get rid of old receipts and other documents in Montgomery. Doing a LIVE interview on the show Director of Montgomery's Clean City Commission Susan Carmichael, will be giving you all the details for this event.

It's the Match-up that many have been waiting on and it happens this weekend. The Magic City Classic between arch rivals Alabama State University and Alabama A&M brings out fans by the thousands. Ken Mullinax with Alabama State University is LIVE to talk more about this upcoming game.

October 24th is Pike Road Founders day and this Friday and Saturday October 25-26 the town is celebrating with a birthday party. There will be food fun and it's all free and open to the public. Mary Catherine Gaston, Pike Road Communication Director, will doing a LIVE interview to tell you more about this event and what to expect.
