The Alabama Crimson Tide rolled over Tennessee with a 45-10 victory Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama didn't waste time putting points on the board with A.J. McCarron throwing a 55-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper on the opening drive. Cade Foster's kick put the score at 7-0.
Alabama scored again in the first quarter with a 1-yard carry into the end zone by T.J. Yeldon.
Alabama's third touchdown also came in the first quarter with a 22-yard touchdown pass from McCarron to Kevin Norwood.
At the end of the first quarter, Alabama led Tennessee 21-0.
Yeldon scored his second touchdown of the game with a 1-yard carry in the 2nd quarter to give the Tide a 28-0 lead.
Alabama scored again in the 2nd quarter with an 89-yard interception return for a touchdown by Landon Collins – the fifth longest in school history.
Alabama led 35-0 going into the half with Alabama scoring 104 unanswered points dating back to the University of Kentucky game.
Tennessee got on the board in the third quarter with a 37-yard field goal.
Yeldon scored his third touchdown of the game – the most in a single game in his career -- to give the Tide a 42-3 lead.
Tennessee scored its first touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter bringing the score to 42-10.
Alabama scored its first field goal of the game with 6:50 left in the fourth.
