HANCOCK COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Three people were injured when the car they were traveling in careened off the side of the road and landed in a field.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office says Savannah Valencia, 26, of McComb was driving a Chevy Blazer on County Road 126 near County Road 203, when her vehicle went off the right side of the road where she hit a sign post. In trying to regain control of her vehicle, Mrs. Valencia apparently over-corrected and traveled off the left side of the road where her car rolled several times before coming to rest.

Sheriff's say two children, ages 5 and 7, were also in the car and they were wearing seatbelts.

The children were taken to the hospital to be checked for possible injuries but their condition is unknown at this time.

Mrs. Valencia was also taken the hospital and her condition is also unknown.

The accident remains under investigation.
