Man uses credit cards stolen from Goshen Twp. cars

GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of breaking into multiple vehicles in Goshen Township.

The thefts happened overnight on Oct. 21 in a subdivision off of State Route 48. According to police, at least two locked cars were broken into at separate homes.

In one case, an American Arms .22 caliber five shot revolver was stolen. In the second, an iPod and wallet with credit cards was stolen.

A male suspect was seen the same night on surveillance using the stolen credit card to buy Camel Turkish Royal cigarettes and Marlboro Black cigarettes at Speedway on Ohio Pike. The clerk described him to police as appearing to be under the influence of drugs.

The man also used the card at Walmart on Alexandria Pike.

The suspect has long sideburns and was wearing a Cincinnati Reds baseball hat. The vehicle involved appeared to have front license plate, resembling a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu.
