Finneytown lockdown lifted after nearby home invasion

SPRINGFIELD TWP, OH (FOX19) -

The non-emergency lockdown has been lifted at Finneytown High School following a reported home invasion Monday morning on a nearby street.

Police were dispatched to a reported burglary around 10 a.m. in the 900 block of Huffman Court. According to police, multiple suspects fled after assaulting someone inside of the home.

Authorities located three people known by the victim who were taken in for questioning.

During the search, Finneytown High School was placed on a non-emergency lockdown just before 11 a.m. It was lifted within the hour.

The school's campus is located under one mile away from the reported burglary.
