OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -
The Overland Park City Hall had to be evacuated Monday morning on reports of a suspicious package.
Overland Park police received a suspicious package call about 10:20 a.m. inside City Hall in the city manager's office.
The city's bomb squad was called to the scene.
City Hall was evacuated with employees and others sent to the parking lot.
Across the street, Shawnee Mission West High School was placed on lockdown.
The bomb squad checked out the package and it was determined not to be dangerous.
Everything returned to normal at 11:45 a.m.
Police have not released any other details.
