EDGERTON, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Two students are facing charges after prosecutors say they threatened fellow students and faculty at Edgerton Schools.

The Williams County prosecutor says police have increased patrols around the school's campus and are investigating the threat made by three teens. Police Chief Jeremy Jones says he first learned of the threat when a concerned parent came forward.

Officials won't give specifics regarding what the threat was, but the prosecutor says it was made against named students and staff.

Police have arrested one high school student from Edgerton and another from a neighboring district on charges of inciting violence. A third student was questioned but may not be charged.

"It's kind of scary to know you have a child in the school, even though they are protected, and that something could happen and you never know until you get home or something, like I did tonight," said Jackie Ailiff.

Chief Jones says the two teens are detained at the juvenile detention center in Stryker. They could appear in court Tuesday.
