BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A 17-year-old is behind bars after allegedly punching a school bus driver and another teen passenger.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Malik Williams was arrested Monday morning.

Officers reported they were called to the intersection of North Little John Drive and Stan Avenue because of a fight aboard a school bus.

Investigators said both victims were treated at the hospital for missing teeth. They added the driver may also have a broken jaw.

Williams is charged with second-degree battery of a juvenile, second-degree battery of a school teacher and criminal damage to property.

He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on the above charges.

Bond has not been set.
