Montgomery Humane Society hosts "Art Unleashed"

The Montgomery Art Guild has joined with the Humane Society to help find homes for the shelter's dogs and cats and to help raise much needed funds for the shelter.

On Sunday, November 3, the Art Guild hold its first "Art Unleashed" event across from the dog park at  Blount Cultural Park.  Montgomery area artists will set up their easels to paint on Sunday from 1 - 4 pm.

There will be completed animal themed  art work for sell with  a portion of the proceeds going to the Humane Society. Portrait artist Kellie Newsome will be doing quick painting on site for any one who would like a painting of their dog. There will also be a drawing for a free dog portrait.  The dogs up for adoption from the shelter have also produced some "dog art" of their own which will be for sell. There will be an art station set up for dogs who attend the art show to produce their own art!

Art Guild Artists will be available to assist dogs to create their own master pieces so bring your dog and take home an original piece of art.

The entire family will enjoy this fun filled Sunday afternoon. There will be face painting and balloon animals for the kids done by Kreative Moments.

There will be dogs and cats up for adoption and ready to take home that day.
