MIAMI COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -

Deputies are investigating after a 23-year-old Paola man was killed after the truck he was driving went out of control in rural Miami County.

Emergency units were dispatched about 8 p.m. Saturday to Hospital Drive about one-half mile north of West 343rd Street in regard to an injury accident.

The Miami County Sheriff's Office said a 2000 Ford F-150 truck was traveling south on Hospital Drive when it left the roadway, overturned several times and ejected the driver.

The driver of the truck, Joseph R. Hallman II, died at the scene.  He was the only occupant in the vehicle.
