BIRMINGAHM,AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Police tell FOX-6 they are in the process of reopening the airport.  A device was not found.  Police say a note with a threat written on it was found in a bathroom.  The content of the note was not released.

The airport's website is reporting all departing flights from the airport are still listed as delayed. The first scheduled landing is an  8:30 p.m.  Delta Flight from Atlanta.
 

Birmingham Police were dispatched to the airport around 4pm on a threat.  We have crews on the scene and will continue to keep you updated as the story unfolds.
