CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Two former Reds greats will be considered for Hall of Fame induction in December.

Dave Concepcion and Dave Parker are two of twelve former players and managers the Baseball Hall of Fame Veteran's Committee will vote on at the baseball winter meetings for inclusion.

Nominees must receive 75% of the vote from the committee to be inducted.

Concepcion played his entire 19-year career in Cincinnati and was an important piece of the Big Red Machine championship seasons in 1975 and 1976.

Parker, who played 4 seasons with the Reds, won the 1978 NL MVP and was a 7-time all star.

If they get the number of votes needed, the induction ceremony is set for July 2014.
