I-35 closed in both directions at Hwy 92 after wreck

KEARNEY, MO (KCTV) -

Multiple injuries are reported in a wreck that has closed both directions of lanes on Interstate 35.

The wreck happened on I-35 at Highway 92 about 5:30 p.m.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck, including a tractor-trailer that is overturned and partially blocking the southbound lanes.

Northbound lanes are blocked by other cars involved in the wreck.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said eight vehicles were involved and no serious injuries were reported.

At this time, the highway patrol advises drivers to take an alternate route.
