Montgomery Mayor Says Still Days To Go Before Storm Debris Is Cleared

Montgomery Mayor Bobby Bright says the city is still days away from removing the last of the debris from Hurricane Ivan.

So far, Crews picked up 21 million pounds of trash, tree limbs and other casualties of the storm. That's more than 4-thousand truckloads of debris hauled to the landfill. Bright says the city has a permit from the state to burn the debris when it needs to.
