AUTAUGA CO., AL (WSFA) -

Alabama State Troopers say a Prattville woman lost her life following a crash early Sunday morning along Alabama Hwy. 143 outside Marbury.

Investigators say 23-year-old Morgan Autrey was fatally injured when the vehicle she was riding in left the roadway approximately seven miles south of Marbury.

State Troopers say neither Autrey, nor the driver, 29-year-old Klayton Murphree, were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Both were thrown from the vehicle when it overturned.

Murphree survived the crash and was taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.

Investigators have not released any other details regarding the wreck pending further investigation.
