Two arrested in connection with Springfield's 17th murder

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Springfield police have arrested two suspects in connection with a deadly shooting at a home on Grenada Terrace last weekend.

Springfield police say Amadi Jose Sosa was arrested Thursday afternoon at his Orange Street home.

Police say he shot William Serrano several times Sunday night.

Police also arrested Sosa's 16-year-old brother for the murder.

Another suspect, Julio Levia, remains at large.

Police say the motive of the murder appears to be a robbery and is gang related.

There have been 17 homicides in Springfield this year.
