KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police are investigating a late-night fight that turned deadly.

It happened about 11:45 p.m. Sunday in the 13100 block of East 53rd Terrace.

Police were called to a house there because of the fight.  When officers got there, they found a man dead. The man was identified days later as 48-year-old Michael W. Tolliver.

Witnesses say the victim was fighting with another person when the victim stopped breathing.

Police took that person into custody.

Investigators said while they are investigating Tolliver's death as a homicide, it may just turn out to be a medical issue.
