(RNN) - In Tuscaloosa, Alabama plays Stillman College at 8 p.m. ET in the opening round of the 2013 preseason NIT. The Tide is the No. 3 seed and the host of the South Region.

Georgia State and McNeese State play the preliminary game at 5: 30 p.m. ET on Monday at Coleman Coliseum.

The losing and winning teams will meet Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. with Bama playing the late game regardless.

Trevor Releford scored 29 points to lead Alabama to a 76-64 win over Texas Tech last Saturday night. Retin Obashohan scored 15 for the Tide. Releford is leading Alabama's scorers with a 20.5 ppg average – he has hit 65 percent from the floor and has hit 7-of-12 threes. Alabama is shooting 50 percent from the floor as a team.

Stillman is 1-2, led by Markeith Madison with a 19.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game average.
