STARKVILLE, MS (RNN) - The Mississippi State Bulldogs held on to their undefeated record and ran the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils out of Starkville with a 94-72 win.

The Bulldogs (3-0) had a productive night shooting - they shot 52 percent from field goal range and 70 percent from the free throw line.

Forward Gavin Ware went seven-of-11 from the stripe and eight-of-11 from the floor. Ware's 23 points and 11 rebounds led the Bulldogs on Tuesday to compliment his good shooting.

The Delta Devils (0-3) did have three players score in double digits, including guard DeAngelo Priar who had 19 points, four assists and five rebounds.

Mississippi State never trailed in the game, leading 15-6 early in the contest and 33-29 at halftime.

The Bulldogs next game will be on the road against the Utah State Aggies on Saturday.
