MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Alabama Department of Transportation has announced some lane closures for Thursday night in Montgomery.

The two outside lanes of Interstate 85 north near downtown between mile markers 0.8 and 1.5, which is between the Court Street exit ramp and the Arba Street entrance ramp, will be closed for pavement repair from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. The Arba Street to I-85 ramp will also be closed.

Motorists are asked to consider using alternate routes. A work zone speed limit of 40 mph will be strictly enforced.
