BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

More twists have been added to the Jameis Winston sexual assault case. The Hueytown native and quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles is being investigated on sexual battery charges.

According to ESPN, a DNA analysis completed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed that DNA provided by Winston matched the sample taken from the underwear of the woman who accused him of sexual battery.

It does not prove Winston sexually assaulted the woman. Winston has not been arrested or charged with a crime.
