Moderate damage in Montgomery apartment fire

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Fire Department responded to a fire at the Woodside Glenn Apartments Thursday afternoon.

Fire officials say the fire caused moderate damage to a kitchen in one the apartments and there was heavy smoke damage. 

All of the occupants were outside at the time of the fire.

No one was injured.

    Parents say a Montgomery Public School bus driver is putting their children in harm’s way. They obtained video of the bus driver texting behind the wheel, and still the parents say they were unsuccessful in resolving the issue with the school district.

    The shooting suspect, 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis, has been jailed on capital murder charges.
