TUSCALOOSA, AL (WSFA) -

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide (11-0) rolled over the Chattanooga Mocs (8-3) Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium by a score of 49-0 in front of a crowd of 100,179 cheering fans.

Halfway through the first quarter, the Tide's Kenyan Drake put the first points on the board in what the culmination of a 5-play, 83-yard drive. With the field goal good, the score was 7-0.

Three players for the Tide scored in the second quarter, Derrick Henry with a 5-yard run on a 7-play, 80-yard drive. A couple of minutes later, Christion Jones had a 75-yard put return to bring the score up to 21-0. With just over two minutes left in the half, Kevin Norwood caught a 28-yard pass from A.J. McCarron and helped the Tide roll into the locker room shutting out the Mocs 20 to nothing.

The Tide continued dominating the Mocs coming back for the second half. The Tide took the second half kickoff and over the course of seven plays marched the ball 63 yards for another touchdown from Amari Cooper. Chris Black would later put another score on the board with a 28-yard pass from McCarron.

Before starting quarterback A.J. McCarron left the game at the end of the third quarter, he made a rare play to his younger brother, Corey McCarron. The play yielded three yards for the Tide in the older McCarron's last game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The fourth quarter saw just one touchdown, during the 5 minute mark, when Dee Hart made a successful 6-yard run into the end zone.

The final score 49-0.

The win, never in doubt for the undefeated, back-to-back BCS National Champions, was the only thing standing in the way of a showdown between Saban's Tide and the Auburn Tigers (10-1) next week.

The Iron Bowl, to be played at Auburn, will decide the SEC West champion and another possible BCS championship game contender.
