SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Bay Street was closed Saturday morning due to leak from an overturned tanker.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police closed off Bay street from General McIntosh to Randolph street at approximately 9:00 a.m., as SCMPD cleaned up the area.

SCMPD reopened the area to traffic after the spill was removed. The lanes were open around 10:30 a.m. to traffic.

No injuries were reported.
