COCHISE COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

On Saturday, November 30, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office was advised that the 1991 white Ford Explorer last driven by missing person Mary Black was located.

According to CCSO, a man who had been hunting southwest of Picacho Peak, flagged down a U.S. Border Patrol agent and told him he located an abandon vehicle several miles away.

The Border Patrol agent traveled to approximately one mile away from the Papago Indian Reservation and located the vehicle which was entered as missing.

Pima County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue teams are deploying to the area to search for Mary Black.

Mary Black has been missing since Sunday November 24.

The Cochise County Sheriff's Office received a call about a missing person, from the St. David area.

The person calling was advising her 86-year-old mother was missing; according to the daughter her mother took the keys to an SUV and left the house at 10 a.m.  The 86-year-old has dementia and has not driven in 10 years, according to the daughter.

The woman, identified as Mary Black, is described as 5'9" tall, weighing between 125-140 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes, she appears frail.  She was last seen wearing a short sleeve shirt and pants, with disheveled hair.  Black's daughter reported that her mother was not on medication at the time of her disappearance, and she has no ID or money with her. The SUV Black is driving is a white 1991 Ford Explorer with Arizona license plates 092-CLS.

According to CCSO reports Black would often sit in the SUV, but would not drive anywhere; with one exception when she did take the vehicle and was found just a short distance away in a convenience store parking lot.

Anyone with information on Black or her location is asked to call the Cochise County Sheriff's Office at 432-9500 or call 911.
