FLORENCE, AZ (CBS5/AP) -
A Tucson woman has been arrested for the second time this month for allegedly transporting people who are in the county illegally.
A deputy stopped a pickup truck driven by 30-year-old Monica Estrada for several traffic violations on Interstate 10 on Thursday, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said.
Four men were in the vehicle and Estrada reportedly told the deputy she was getting paid $800 for taking them to Phoenix, sheriff's deputies said.
The deputy recognized Estrada because he had arrested her on Nov. 13 on suspicion of human smuggling and she was driving the same vehicle again, PCSO said.
"Monica told the deputy she was getting paid $200 per person, so a total of $800," said Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu.
The U.S. Border Patrol took custody of the four men and Estrada was booked into the Pinal County Jail.
