MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Three Tennessee men have been indicted on murder charges in connection with the death of an Arizona resident on Halloween night.

The victim, 36-year-old Brian Weathers, was found bleeding in a driveway on Harmony Street in Mesa. Neighbors say it appears he stumbled there from an alley.

Initially, detectives had very little information on the crime.

Eventually a witness came forward and provided information leading to the identity of the suspects. All three men were arrested on unrelated charges in Cheatham County, TN.

Two of the suspects were tracked down and pulled over in a traffic stop. Evidence was found in their vehicle linking them to the homicide, detectives said.

The suspects are Zackary Burgess, 22; Brandon Simon, 18; and Joseph Holt, 22.

On Wednesday, Mesa detectives secured indictments on all three men. They are each charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of kidnapping and one count of armed robbery.

All three are held on a $1 million bond each awaiting extradition to Arizona.

Mesa detectives say they're questioning three men in a Halloween slaying that took place on the 300 block of Harmony Street in Mesa.

Mesa Police say three men in Tennessee, who have been in jail on unrelated charges, are suspects in the killing.

Detectives in Mesa and Tennessee have not released a motive in the slaying.
