MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The week of events leading up to the Turkey Day Classic continued Tuesday morning with an event designed to reach out to Montgomery area business partners.

More than 300 people attended a breakfast at the Renaissance Hotel and Conference Center, the fifth annual ASU Business Breakfast.

The breakfast event invites River Region business owners to see what is new at Alabama State University.

"One of the things we think it important to do is to keep our business partners, our community partners, abreast to the things that are going on at Alabama State University," says Danielle Kennedy, Vice President of University Relations. "But more than that to remind them of the connection that we have to them, and to the city and the River Region," she added.
