PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A former daycare owner is back behind bars.

Ryan Reed, 27, is facing two counts of child molestation.

He ran a daycare last year when a 3-year-old girl died under his watch.

He was booked for felony abuse charges, but they were dropped due to a lack of resources in the medical examiner's office.

Savannah Cross was pronounced dead at the hospital after she was found not breathing on Dec. 11, 2012 at the home near Southern Avenue and 45th Street.
