HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Normally card tricks are entertaining.

But the debit card trick that a crook played on an unsuspecting person recently dealt a devastating blow financially.

The thief we're looking for is seen on surveillance video using a stolen debit card at two ATMs to steal the victim's money.

Huntsville Police said he made stops at two Redstone Federal Credit Union ATMs on Sunday May 5; one at the main branch on Wynn Drive, the other at the South Parkway location.

This guy didn't just steal a few dollars. According to police, he cleaned out the victim's account, and then some.

In fact, the victim was left with a negative balance, stealing over $2,300.

But here's where you come in.

If you know who this guy is, you could be putting some legitimate cash into your pocket.

Call 256-53-Crime. You'll remain anonymous.

Or to text or e-mail an anonymous tip, head to our Crime Stoppers page for details.

There's up to a thousand dollars in reward money riding on this.
