Madison Academy rushed for 364 yards and made a 31-14 win over Leeds Thursday, as the Mustangs rolled to its second-straight Class 3A state football championship.

The 15-0 Mustangs closed a perfect season as Coach Eric Cohu registered his 100th career win, and the team's 25th straight win.

3A championship game MVP Malik Miller, a six-foot tall sophomore, ran 168, rushing on 20 carries.

Junior running back Kerryon Johnson added 93 yards on seven carries and scored the game's first touchdown with a 43-yard run.

LaMarkus Martin had 78 yards on 13 attempts and a three-yard touchdown run to close out the scoring with three minutes remaining in the final quarter.

Nathan Geis kicked four extra points and a 45-yeard field goal.

Taylor Ziak's eleven tackles led the Mustang defense. Logal Hamlett had nine stops and Nicholas Tomlinson had eight.

Madison Academy had three sacks and seven tackles for losses.
