FOUND: Woman located safely in Fayetteville

BRUNWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office have safely located a woman who was reported missing Monday afternoon.

According to the sheriff's office, Brenda Sue Trotter, 44, was was found in Fayetteville Tuesday night.

The sheriff's office said Trotter was headed to Fayetteville to pick up some belongings and was supposed to return to Supply later that night, but never did.

The sheriff's office thanks everyone for their help.
