Boys 'Holiday Hoops' challenge announced

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Boys' basketball teams from the Greater Miami Conference and the Greater Western Ohio Conference will play eight games in the first Holiday Hoops Challenge between the two leagues on Dec. 28.

Four games will be played each at Fairfield High School in Fairfield and Kettering Fairmont High School in Kettering.

Tickets are the same price as any other single GMC game during the season, $6 for adults and $4 for students.

The event will continue in December 2014. Boys teams will play Dec. 27, 2014 and girls will be added to the event, playing games on Dec. 30, 2014.

The boys schedule for this year is:

At Fairfield
Lakota West vs Wayne     3 p.m.
Hamilton vs Springfield     4:30 p.m.
Oak Hills vs Miamisburg     6 p.m.
Fairfield vs Beavercreek     7:30 p.m.

At Kettering Fairmont
Sycamore vs Lebanon          12:30 p.m.
Colerain vs Fairmont              2:15 p.m.
*
Mason vs Centerville            5:45 p.m.
Princeton vs Trotwood-Madison  7:30 p.m.

*There is a 4  p.m. game between two GWOC teams.
