CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

A Midlothian man is behind bars after Chesterfield police say, he raped a woman he met on Craigslist. 53-year-old Russell Grabinski is charged with object sexual penetration.

Grabinski and his victim allegedly met on Craigslist. Grabinski posted an ad in the personals section asking for a "lover/friend."

The 35-year-old victim told police, she answered the ad and the pair exchanged emails before she agreed to meet at his home.

According to court records, the victim met Grabinski on his front porch. They spoke for a few minutes then she went inside. He then allegedly closed the door behind her and deadbolted it.

The victim told police that Grabinski demanded she disrobe so he could take photos of her. He then allegedly forced himself on the victim before grabbing a blue drill with a flesh colored attachment made to resemble a penis and raped her with it.

Search warrants show the police located the drill with the "dildo" along with 66 photos of the "crime scene."

NBC12 went to Grabinski's Midlothian home where the rape allegedly happened. Neighbor Jane Andrews said she has lived next door to Grabinski for over two decades but hasn't seem him lately.

We told her what he's accused of doing. "I never would have thought it," said Andrews. "Never would have though that. I'm totally speechless."

Kiffy Werkheiser is with The James House, a sexual assault resource center. She says, predators using the internet to lure victims is becoming increasingly popular.

"It happens not only with Craigslist but with chatrooms," said Werkheiser. "Especially to lure teens and young children."

Werkheiser urges those who have chatted with someone online to meet in a public place, have a friend present or at least have someone know where you are.

Though sometimes, you can do everything right and still be sexually assaulted. If that happens, there are resources available and the only person responsible, is the perpetrator. The James House's 24/7 hotline is 804-458-2840.

As of December 10, Grabinski's Craigslist ad was still online, NBC12 alerted Chesterfield police and Craigslist.

Grabinski is due in court February 10.
