MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities arrested two people in connection with a school burglary that happened in Marshall County.

Investigators said the Asbury School was burglarized overnight on Dec. 4. Laptops valuing more than $65,000 were reported stolen.

Deputies were able to recover all the stolen equipment and arrested two people in connection with the burglary.

Michael Lynn Brewton, 35, of Albertville, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and theft. He is currently in the Marshall County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.

William Andrew Helms, 26, of Albertville, was arrested on Dec. 5. He was charged with receiving stolen property. He has since posted a $10,000 bond.
