LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) -
Police are searching for one suspect and one person of interest after two separate alleged murders took place in LaGrange on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.
The first victim, Larry Strickland, 36, was shot twice in the torso. Police say they responded to the scene at 307 Boulevard around 3:41 p.m., and found Strickland lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Erwin Brewer, 30, of LaGrange for this case. Brewer was arrested on Dec. 23 and is currently in custody.
At approximately 11:45 p.m., police found a second victim, Pamela Hardy, 40, lying on the ground outside of her home on Colquitt St. Paramedics arrived at the scene, and determined that the victim was deceased. She had suffered obvious injuries to her face and head area. The death is being investigated as a murder.
Hardy's husband, Charlie Hardy, was not found at the home, and was being sought by police for questioning. He was later arrested on Dec. 23 and charged with her murder.
