VALLEY, AL (WTVM) -

An 18-year-old Valley man has been found not guilty for the attempted kidnapping of two women earlier this year.

Dijon King, who was charged with attempted kidnapping, rape, and sodomy, was tried on the attempted kidnapping and robbery charge in court Monday and Tuesday.

King was arrested after police say he tried to abduct two females at gunpoint in July.

Jury selection and testimony began in that case inside a Chambers County courtroom Monday.

King also faces burglary, rape, and sodomy charges in a separate case that will go to trial in April 2014 after his DNA came back as a match to the March sexual assault of a 51-year old woman.
