MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

Madison police arrested a man Tuesday evening on robbery and reckless endangerment charges.

According to officers, 18-year-old Timothy Weidley, was in the parking lot of a Kroger responding to a Craigslist post about a laptop. Weidley took the laptop without paying and tried to drive off. The man who was selling the laptop attempted to stop him.

Police said that when the man who was selling the laptop tried to stop him, the two struggled and Weidley's car struck two others in the parking lot.

Weidley and the victim were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
