Two men charged with possession in Troy

TROY, AL (WSFA) -

Troy Police have charged two men with possession following an investigation.

Police say 21-year-old Byron Dedric McDonald of Birmingham and 21-year-old Dimitri Miles of LaFayette, Georgia with possession of Marijuana.

The charges stem from an investigation surround the early morning shooting that occurred in the 400 block of South Brundidge street Sunday December 15th.

Police found Marijuana along with digital scales, commonly used with the sale of narcotics, in the apartment that McDonald and Miles shared.

Both men have been transported to the Pike County jail on $7500 bond.

Miles is also charged with receiving stolen property in the 2nd degree with a $2500 bond.

No other information is known at this time as police continue to investigate.

    The puppy was spotted under a leaking tar storage container on the public property. According to the animal rescue group that posted about the situation on Facebook, it cried out for help, unable to move as one side of his body and his face were stuck in the substance.
