HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Special Olympics will be hosting a golf tournament fundraiser this January 11 at International World Tour Links. The money raised will be used to help 21 Horry County athletes that have been selected to compete in the 2014 USA Special Olympic Games in Princeton, NY on June 14 - 21.

It will be a captain's choice style/ scramble golf tournament, and will cost $80 to participate. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will tee off at 9 a.m. Original Benjamin's will cater after the tournament at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center. Golfers will have a chance to win a BMW or Mercedes on two of the par 3 holes, sponsored by Myrtle Beach Automotive. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams, as well as, other raffles and contents.

Come out and join the fun while supporting our Horry County athletes. All entries and payments must be submitted by January 1.
