BULLOCK CO., AL (WSFA) -

State troopers say three people were killed and two others were injured in a crash in Bullock County Friday morning. Three of the victims were children.

It happened on County Road 89 four miles northeast of Midway at 6:20 a.m. Trooper Kevin Cook says the driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Dargean Williams, hit a Ford Explorer, overcorrected and went to the other side of the road where the vehicle flipped. No one in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt and all were ejected.

Williams, 29-year-old Renner Austin, and a 9-year-old, whose identity hasn't been released, were killed.

Two other children -- a 6-year-old with life-threatening injuries and a 5-year-old with serious injuries -- are being treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
