LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) -

LaGrange police have caught a murder suspect after searching for him for nearly two weeks.

Thanks to the help of the U.S. Marshall's Office, authorities were able to locate and arrest 30-year-old Erwin Brewer on Monday Dec. 23.

He is accused in the December 13 murder of 36-year old Larry Strickland. Strickland was found lying in the road with two gunshots in his stomach.

Police have not released a motive in the shooting.
