MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Utilities has restored power after an outage in Northwest Madison County.

The alert went out around 5:45 a.m. Utilities said the power outage affected those from the Madison/Limestone County line east to Scott Road and from the Tennessee/Alabama state line south to Opp Reynolds Road.

Crews restored power around 7 :15 a.m., authorities said. The outage was reportedly caused by a weather-damaged power line on Wall Triana Highway.
