MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn fans began preparing for a huge Tiger Tailgate on Sunday including a special event from the AU Alumni Association, and WSFA 12 News Reporter Melissa Johnson was live outside the event.

On Olympic Boulevard, just outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Nokia Plaza is where you might have seen red carpet premiers, ESPN Sports Center shows, American Idol, and many more famous events, but on Sunday it was tons of excited fans in their orange and blue.

Sunday afternoon from, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. California time (that's 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. central time), the AU Alumni Association put on an event for all Auburn fans in town.

The Auburn cheerleaders and Aubie made guest appearances, and Auburn IMG Sports Network broadcasted a LIVE Tiger Talk for fans.

Former AU football players Ryan Pugh and Lee Ziemba hosted Tiger Talk, and for those listening in the Montgomery area, it was broadcasted live from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. central time on WLWI 92.3.
