HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police are looking for the man involved in a late Monday night armed robbery.

Police said the robbery happened at the Mini Mart 2 on the 4300 block of University Drive at Boxwood Drive around 11:40 p.m. The night clerk told police that a man wearing a red hoodie and khaki pants entered the business and fired a couple of rounds off from a pistol. The clerk said that after the robber fired the rounds, he told the victim to give him all of the money.

Officers said the robber left the scene with an amount of money and beer; he was last seen running down Boxwood Drive. A K-9 tried to track his scene, but so far, the officers haven't found him.

There were no reported injuries. No arrests have been made yet. This case is pending further investigation.
