LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -

A Springboro man pleaded guilty Monday to robbery in Warren County Common Pleas Court for the Oct. 10 robbery of National Bank & Trust Co. branch in Franklin.

James Lawson, 39, will serve five years in prison and must pay restitution to the bank.

Lawson at approximately 9:50 a.m. Oct. 10, entered the bank wearing a hat, scarf, heavy coat and sunglasses. He showed a teller a handwritten note indicating that he had a gun and wanted cash. He obtained approximately $870 and fled.

Franklin Police used tips and the bank's surveillance photos. Police arrested Lawson the next day.
