Cincinnati named a top city for living on a budget

Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus were named among America's most affordable cities for living on a budget in 2014.

Apartment Guide used the Cost of Living Index and its own internal listing data to find the cities with the lowest average rent and lowest cost of living in each metropolitan area.

The list:

10) Cincinnati, OH

9) Oklahoma City, OK

8) Louisville, KY

7) Indianapolis, IN

6) Dayton, OH

5) Birmingham, AL

4) Columbus, OH

3) Memphis, TN

2) Augusta, GA

1) Tulsa, OK
